Growing fresh plants with your HERBY® appliance in 6 steps
1. Meet the Seedpod®
Seedpod growing cubes are the easiest way to grow new plants in your HERBY farming appliance, or in any other hydroponic system.
Order your favourite Seedpod growing cubes easily using our webstore.
2. Grow seedlings inside the built-in nursery
Seedpod growing cubes are ready to grow out-of-the-box. Just insert them into the built-in nursery at the bottom of your HERBY appliance.
Your new plants are ready to be moved into the main growing chamber once they have grown their first true leaves.
3. Insert the Seedpod growing cubes into the included cups
Once your new plants have grown their first true leaves, insert the Seedpod growing cubes into the flexible growing cups provided with your Herby appliance.
If you are using Seedpod growing cubes in your own hydroponic grower, you can buy our flexible growing cups (patent pending) from our webstore.
4. Move the Seedpod growing cubes into the main growing chamber
Insert the growing cups with the Seedpod growing cubes into the main growing chamber.
Remember to tell Herby which plants you are currently growing using the built-in screen. Herby and the built-in automation will take care of the rest.
5. Harvest what you need, leave the rest to grow
Once the plants have grown to full size, you can start harvesting them. By cutting the plants with the correct technique, they will keep growing back again and again.
Each Seedpod® package includes an info card with instructions to properly care for your plants.
6. And after harvesting?
Seedpod® cubes can be thrown into the organic waste together with all extra root and plant biomass that is left unused.
